Grip Tape or something else?

Has anybody ever tried "Marine GooP" ... Kinda like silicone but dries much firmer... adheres to anything really well... super grippy... won't tear your pants up..... We used it on the M/X bike sides for knee grip... just spread a layer about 1/4 in thick or so.... dries clear.... Oh and it will even glue dirt bike plastic back together! It does take overnight to dry completly thou....Fuel resistant when dry too!
