be sure that cylinder is at top dead center, do the compression test again. if it's confirmed zero do a leak down. pushing 100psi into the cylinder you will hear where it's going ie: oil pan, intake, exhaust.
again, make sure it's truly tdc if not it'll leak from the intake valve or exhaust valve.
