All I can help you out with is the gas cap, yeah you can drill it until you drill out the tumblers but you dont want to go all the way through or you will get metal shavings in the tank.
I just went through this a month ago & Instead of drilling I just took a flat head & hammer. Hammer the flat head down in the key hole then turn, actually pretty simple. Then I took the key & cut it off & i use that to open the lock for now. Instead of having to carry a screwdriver around with you. Or you could just call a lock smith out & he might be able to make an impression & give you a new key.
