\r\n \r\n I\'ve got some newbie beginner questions too! "raises hand". I have a very good group of people to ride with who don\'t push & or pressure me at all. I have very little to no experience with bikes. I had a super pocket bike & rode it maybe 15 times. Then rode & wrecked a 50, then bought my own, pimped it out perfectly to stunt. I got scared watching other people. Every time I\'d be ready to try a trick something would happen to them & they\'d end up mangled by their 50\'s so I\'d back off & just put around. I wanted to try a big bike so I started looking around. The 636 was easier to reach the bars, but the f4i was slightly easier to almost reach the ground with. I sat on the 250 but there was no way I could pay that price for a decent one. I found the steal of the century after patiently waiting for months. I picked up an 06" 636 clean tx title for $700. It was wrecked & in need of some repair & love. It runs just fine, starts right up, bought a nice Impacktech double slider cage, and dropped it 2" thats all we could do safety.
\r\n Here is where my biggest problem comes in. Not the fact that I have never driven anything with a clutch (having the hand brake on the 50 which I primarily used really helped with the clutch control on the 636\') its my height and arm reach. I\'m only 4\'11, kid arms, tiny feet, and 26" inseam! we\'re shaving the seat down to hopefully get me closer to tippy toeing. I feel drained from straining to lean over and hold the bike up after 10 minutes.
\r\n I can\'t lower the bike any more than 2" because were already cutting it close to catching the cage and exhaust pipes on the pavement. But only if your turn tight, which I\'m not doing. I\'m just working on the very literal beginner basics (starting it up, letting out the clutch, giving it gas, and NOT stabbing the brake, I have not stalled it yet. I\'m terrified of stalling it. lol)\r\n
