\r\n \r\n I learned on a big bike first but also had my first serious injury within a month of learning. Pancaked the bike on its side and crushing my foot along with it. 3 fractures and 15+ stitches, 4 months recovery and I still refused to learn on a small bike.
\nWith all of that said I do think there are benefits to learning on small bikes and recommend a 100 or something comparable. A friend started riding the exact same time as me on a 100, learned all the basics and then some and when he converted to the big bike he picked all the tricks right up.
\nEither way, remember to take your time and tell all the guys that rush you or say you suck and try to discourage you to fuck off.\r\n
