636 Running Hot

My last fan I hard wired to the horn and when the bike got real hot I couldn't turn it off with the ignition. I could take the key right out of the bike and the thing still ran. Had to put the kickstand down in gear to turn the bike off. The bike was always running above 209 with the fan on so I never bothered to wire it this time around. I don't think my bike will ever run below 209 in the lot.

so cut the power to the fan and do what then to make the fan keep running?

it was 80+ here today and my bike never hit 200, tons of drifting and just hard rideing in general... im telling you, wire your fan to come on w/ your ignition so you cant forget to turn it on and add a second fan...08 09 r1 and r6 fans work awsome, your bike will thank you. also if for some reason it did get hot you could shut it off, turn the key on let your fans run for a min. start it back up and drop the temp like 30 degrees.... its awsome!!!!
