it's a great idea! It's gonna be up to the people that own the small companies to decide if this is gonna happen though.
Maybe even for bigger items such as cages/caliper brackets/clutches/powdercoating.
If I see a cheap part that I don't have a spare of, I'm all over it like flies on a turd!
