I attempted to tighten it down and could not get the bottom socket cap tight. The nut always grabs so I only need the alan socket to get it snug. I was going to pull the cage off and redo the nut with a Nylon Lock Nut like I did the rear all thread. Looking down the tube with a flash light it looks like the bolt is free b/c of the lip. I basicly have to roll the bike over the cage and plastics to get it free so I can see what the deal is. It wont budge so I decide to use a wheel and cut it off. Here is what comes rolling out of the tube.



All I can think of is it came loose inside the tube and I laid it over on the right side and the vibrations worked it back to the bottom. Talk about some bad luck.

Im confuzed. what exactly happened? Do you need a hardware kit?
