Man my clutch basket blew up. My roomate and best friends both have bikes and my roomate was helping me work on my bike about 2 months ago, checking the clutch because i thought i fucked it up. Well we dont have a torque wrech and he swore up and down that the spring bolts on the basket were only suppose to be so tight. So being a dumbass I listened and shortly later I was letting my best friend ride it and he cranked it up in a parking lot and it just cut off. Apparently one of the spring bolts backed out and caught the case cover and the whole basket just shredded. And i just dont have any money until january to fix it.

get that thing fixed and lets ride. You do need to use a torque wrench or you clutch will slip and/or burn up. That torque determines the amount of presure the springs put on the plates.
