Billy Lane Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
Custom builder Billy Lane was sentenced to six years in the Florida Department of Corrections this week for his part in the death of Gerald Morelock; driving his truck with a BAC of .192, more than twice the legal limit in Florida, Lane's truck fatally struck Morelock's small motorcycle on Sept. 4, 2006.
After his release, Lane will serve three years of probation; his driver's license has been suspended for life.
