the fuel injection is kick ass, I never have any flooding issues riding at 12 continuously. the bar touches sooner than the 400ex, so I kinda gotta be a little more careful throwing it way back for a coaster or something or I'll scrape the bar. the bar has less room for my foot, but enough to still put the foot on it. Its got some more power so it snaps up a little quicker, and it likes to fall backwards a little quicker once past balance point, but all that stuff is easy to adapt too. if anything I would say I was smoother on this thing the first day after regearing than my 400ex just because of the fuel injection difference and how smooth it makes the throttle response. if you want it to feel exactly like the 400ex gearing wise, go -2 in the front. I went -2 +2 because my tires on the 400ex are 19"
