100 points total
20 Difficulty
20 Execution
40 overall (includes how well the run was put together, rider and bike appearance, crowd participation etc)
20 points for variation
5 maximum points for each discipline, wheelies, stoppies, burnouts, acros
the way the variation works is this.. you do 5 different wheelies you get 5 points, you do 10 different wheelies you get 5 wheelie points, you only do 3 different wheelies you only get 3 wheelie points
if you dont do any acrobatic tricks then you cost yourself 5 points, if you can only do short straight stoppies then you can only get 1 stoppie point
it makes the riders perform a fuller bag of freestyle tricks.. you can still win if you are slack on 1 of the 4 disciplines, but it would be hard
thats what had me pissed about stuntwars.. they used this judging, but instead of counting the tricks.. they gave the rider 5 points for 1 trick.. so if someone did 5 different acrobatic tricks, they got 5 points, but if someone just skitched they got the same 5 points... unfair
