well, tom. at the end of the day i get to go home.....many of you will have no clue by reading this just how close to death i came....i'm so glad that i never felt anything, my body went into shock so that i am grateful for....another thing that i am grateful for is the network of friends i have.....which is simply amazing.....i'm sure may of you are wondering how i'm doing from a health standpoint, my brain is back in working order which many people were concerned with.....i can remember things longer than a minute anyways....it wont be all back for another 6 month.....i'm in pain pretty much the entire time that i am awake durring the day....and i mean that seriously, its incredible.....but the one thing i keep thinking is the fact that i'm going to be known as the stunt rider with a prostetic leg!! i can't wait to get back to riding but i'm going to take my time, i had a head injury ( even with a good helmet) so i'm going to let that heal as well as my vertebrate (where i broke a handful of the lobes off)
when i can wake up in the morning and not hurt too much, i will consider getting back on the bike untill then i will look for some sponsorships and get my bike prepared to ride (just got a new bike and still need to set it up)
thanks for all the support and care...i hope you never have to go through what i have gone through, i was close to death......so close i was touching the brass on the door.
