Its not a bad job man pending on your abilities and tools. Like stated above you need to pull the motor and flip it upside down, there are a few main bolts that hold the lower crank case together that are on the top side (near the starter). Other than those everything is on the bottom half of the engine. I might have a complete trans ill look tomorrow and get back to you not sure what your plans for replacement are. But i would replace shift forks and shift drum the fork and the drum probably have wear in them. Second is usually the gear that goes out the most, due to the fact that your shifting through nuetral and have a longer range to make the shift.
