what wealth? who the hell do you think the people of detroit (the ones who still have jobs) work for? corporations and capitalism isnt the problem it is the government interference in the free market that has caused the problems. it is the government taking us off the gold standard and allowing The Fed Res to run the show that is the problem. the government has been the problem and always will be. the only thing the government should be involved in is protecting liberty. thats it. that is all the constitution allows it to do. and now we live in a post constitutional society.

Lee majors, weather you like H2 or not, she is right. you either support liberty and justice, or you support a form of socialism and social justice. there is no on the fence or in between.

i urge you to read The Law by Frederic Bastiat. Legal plunder is socialism.

Well said.

And it's true, but honestly the overall structure is fucked up. Big corporations have the means to influence government officials, so obviously yes they play a major role with the use of corporate lobbyists to do so.

This is a great read: https://ivn.us/2012/08/04/corporate-...hurts-economy/

Just as you said Ben, corporations are treated as an individual entity of its own. With that said, because of the lack of liability on the shareholders side, it becomes much easier to take more risk, and cheat the system. A corporations goal is to earn as much money as possible, maximize its profit margine, eliminate as much cost as possible. Basically think of it as that annoying little fuck in grade school who fusses over getting one wrong answer on a test he got a 98% on. They have no "comfort zone", they will always and forever seek to maximize and perfect.

With that said, the government should still be able to regulate this behavior, but we elect officials who are easily bought. Plain and simple.
