You're right Dustin, I actually checked the tire size yesterday and it's a 17 inch wheel so I stand corrected. The frame, subframe and swingarm are getting painted a gunmetal/darkish grey color as I'm not a fan of flashiness. The parts are at my dad's work already, they're going to prep and paint them this week. Ideally I would also paint the tank, fender, tail and rims a dark red color, but I think I'm just going to slap it back together to be able to ride asap and leave those things as they are for now. We shall see.
The new forks I got are super soft and I'm able to bottom them out by pressing them hard into the ground. Yes even at full stiffness. I drained the oil from one of them, and the correct volume came out but it was dirty. I have a bottle of 10w fork oil and I'm hoping it will fix the issue. It better. What else could it be? Also waiting for valve shims as three local so called dealers did not even have them in stock LOL. Also got my carbtune for throttle body sync this week. Weather's nice. I should be riding SMH.
