Next, you'll want to clean up the bondo a little and rough it up slightly with sandpaper.

Then take some silicone caulk, it doesn't matter what it is, but I used clear bathroom stuff because that's what I had. Put some on the back of the mount and then press it onto your helmet. You pulled off the packing tape, right? PRO TIP: If you want a nice beautiful radius around your bathtub, sink, or gopro mount all you need to do is lick your finger and then run it down the bead with slight pressure (careful not to move the mount). Make sure to wipe the silicone off your finger before doing the next side... this stuff tastes nasty!

Tape it in place so it doesn't sag while it cures...

Once the silicone has cured, take a razor and lightly run it around the perimeter and then pull the tape. PRESTO! One beautifully, and sturdily mounted camera!


The other day I was trying to drift in the rain and my front tire slipped out. I face planted and the camera got knocked so hard it unclipped from the mount, but the mount was still stuck on. Face plant approved!
