the wr250x and wr250r are the same bikes overall, one has dirt wheels and different brakes is all. the wr250x is what you want for stunt thats what all the parts are available for, it is a completely different bike and motor than any wr250f and no parts will interchange. the motor in an X is like a sportbike motor it can be riden daily for 30k miles and have no issues and never need to be touched other than general oil changes every 1500-3k miles just like a big bike. wr250f is far less reliable and more like a racebike oil changes and valve checks much more frequently. the wr250x is fuel injected thats why its the best stunter overal as well. lil heavier than the wr250f's but its more like a streetbike. all 250s are underpowered but they are great for learning lot stuff, very smooth its like riding a big 50 just dont expect it to be a 450 or a sportbike and youll love it. gotta keep in mind it does only have 25HP stock and 30 all modded out. but they are by far the most popular motard stuntbike for guys learning. once you learn all you want you will want more power at some point. problem with building a 450 is you have to do all the street legal type stuff to it and the 2012 is the first wr450f to be fuel injected. lot of other guys run carbed bikes but i will not, just my preference.
