I feel a bit better now after reading all your guys numbers. I'm the fucking stunt jew king. My current stunt bike was ~3000. $2200 for a naked, ratty '01 zx6r, $350ish for a SI cage. It came with some ghetto ass homemade 12 bar. $150 for a rear sprocket. Definitely just 'spliced' in like 3 or 4 links from another chain because who the fuck wants to buy a new one 
Then i found an r6 radial handbrake master for like $120, gptech handbrake junction for like $50, brake line for like $30. I had to buy like 3 of those fucking large monster energy drinks before i finally managed to turn one into a sturdy coolant overflow bottle, those were like $3.50 a piece lol. Random shit and paint etc a couple bucks more.
New stunt bike, $1900 for a 03 cbr600rr trackbike. Shitty old tygershark cage ~$75. Hohey dual cal bracket ~$75. 60t rear sprocket found in buddies basement, probably like $50. Honda front caliper found in same basment with brake lines for handbrake ~$50. New SI round bar ~$160. So far its definitely looking like the 600rr is gonna be way cheaper than the zx6r due to an abundance of used shit in people's basements/garages lol. Found a tank cover/tail fairing for like $120
