Beating the oil light

Roger you're correct it's not a pressure light it's just a dummy light for oil level. I'll prolly get around to doing the mod but from what I hear, hydrolock on the R6 isn't very common..... Any truth to that? Secondly, I'm not so much worried about hydrolock as I am starving the cylinders of oil.... If the oil light is going off it's telling me that there's not enough oil around the pick-up.... Correct?
