Same bike besides plastics. As far as I know besides the plastics they really haven't changed in the last 50 years or whatever that they've been around.lol
With that said imo the xr tail plastic is way better than the crf just because its a one piece tail and the crf is a three piece ( tail,and 2 side #plates ) and they always break at the tabs and pop apart.
