Since you plan to go into production why not mill an offset in a thicker piece of stock to accommodate the seal? Unless I missed something, this is the only reason why you trimmed that area of the wheel, correct? If so, the added materials cost would be made up for in sales... A dual, 4-piston f4i setup that is fully bolt-on using only unmodified OEM parts has yet to hit the market, just sayin ![]() |
My friend who will be having a look at doing this is a very talented and over qualified engineer.
so I'm sure he will say the same thing...the main point is the prototypes work and have held together amazingly well it has come together with a few peoples help Brian at burwins a bike shop in London gave me the heads up on the triumph fitments which he found though sheer chance. That or a blessing : )
