K so figured it out after a little searching. You can go higher amperage on the switch. DONT GO LOWER! To explain:
Lets say you have a 30amp fuse with a switch rated at 25amps. So lets say the circuit goes over 30amps. Instead of the fuse blowing, the switch would blow because its rated much lower. The switch would actually fry at 25.1amps.
Now lets say you have a 30amp fuse with a switch rated at 35 amps. If the circuit overloads and goes to 30.1amps. Now the fuse would blow, and the switch would still be good.
Higher amp rating on the switch good. Lower amp rating on the switch bad.
