I just picked up a WR250X to stunt yesterday.
First question is regarding aftermarket exhaust systems and such. It came with a FMF power bomb header and a GYTR can (including FMF tuner). Is there any reason this setup will decrease reliability and/or hurt stunt performance (maybe reduced torque at the low end)? If there isn't a big peformance gain for stunting with this thing, I'm going to sell the full exhaust and tuner and use the cash on a nice dual caliper setup.
Onto the next question. I already purchased an idle cable that hasn't arrived yet but I'm not too sure what a single-cylinder 250 will like idle wise. I ran my f4i on 2-3k and was comfortable with it. What are you guys setting yours at on a motard? I know it's a personal opinion but just trying to get a baseline to start with.
Thanks for the help!
