It is designed to run (2) 4 piston calipers, however I would recommend using a 05+ radial master from just about any manufacturer. You would like the response much better.
Radial masters have the piston travel the same direction as the lever so your input is transferred directly to the caliper.
Older non radial masters have a pivot with the piston travel sideways.
