Sounds like the beating you were taking had nothing to do with what size sprocket you had on your bike.

well on a stock sprocket, i was just startin to catch clutch ups in the street. when i decided to lot ride i went to the 54. the bike was coming up so quick on me that i couldnt catch it wit the rear brake. i wasnt expieranced enough in the whole process yet so i was taking a beating when the bike was booking up.

i think this time ima go back to stock sprocket until i can get the whole "cover rear brake" drilled into my head
