Nice and congrats.
I'm completely in the same boat. I decided to go back to school and join AFROTC this fall. I'm not in it for the money or benefits or anything.. I just need a change in my life and joining the military has been something I've always wanted to do, but didn't have the balls to follow through. This Feb. I lost my job and after a month of screwing around, I decided it was finally time to pull the trigger. I was originally just going to enlist, but my dad works for a college so I get to go to school for free, so I figured wth.. why not go in as an officer. Anyway, onto my point for posting this. I know you've pretty much decided to stick with army.. but I figured I'd throw this in. I have a lot of friends in the Army and they all love it and have met a bunch of awesome people. However, they all told me to join another branch because they treat you like shit compared to other branches. I'm more interested in Aerospace anyway, so I decided to go Air Force. I also have a bunch of friends in the Air Force and they all love it as well. Just figured I'd throw some thoughts your way for you to ponder. |
What MOS do you want with the AF?

I've also been told that the Air Force has a lot more women than any other branch

) Also I was told a while ago that I'd have to cut my hair to my shoulders...hell no! It'd take me years to get it back to the length it is now, my hair grows very slowly!
