Wha did your recruiter say your MOS was. I am guessing something in the air wing. Personally I am a 6153 ( ch53e airframes mechanic) I know a little bit about the marine corps and the airwing. I have been in for 9 years now. Good luck in boot camp man. Have fun at the depot. |
My recruiter told me my contract would state that I am going to be making an 8 year commitment to the Marines( 4 years active and 4 years reserve). i thought this was kinda weird cause i thought it was 4 years, and youd choose whether you want to be active or reserve.
And yes i plan to take full advantage of college while enlisted in the marines. Still doing my research on the GI bill, tuition assistance from the marines, and marine corps college fund. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated of what routes would be best to take while in the marines.
