Dereck was defintely a cool dude. A few years back, B-Town was one of the first few events I'd ever been to. Didn't know Dereck from anyone else, but he came up and intro'd himself and we shot the shit for a few. He was always friendly anytime I saw him after that. I didn't know him all that well, but well enough to know that he was a sincere person... something the world could use more of. Sorry for your loss Scotty. I'll be there to ride some.
