Depending on your state. In NH it was after the sentence ran out. So when my probation/parole ended, but to play it safe I waited till the suspended was no longer over my head. What state was or were the crimes in? All in one state, then you can do it there. If they were in different states, then you have to research those states and see what the criteria is for annulment/expungement. Different states call it different names. I know in NH, the record is cleared completely for the whleo offense. So the arrest, conviction and all sentencing is gone, even the mug show is supposed to be "sealed" from what I understand, unless you go to the federal level. The FBI and shit will always know.
But for all given purposed when I apply for gun purchases and permits and they ask have you ever been "arrested" for a felony, my legal right is to answer no. I got called on it by the local PD that I had my charges in when I applied for my CCW and they denied me it. When I went for the hearing the chief asked why I answered no when he had a file "right in front of him" with my arrest in it. I explained about the annulment and gave him the paperwork for it and kindly asked that he turn the record over to the county court because he wasn't supposed to have that anymore.... LOL
Permit came in the mail 3 days later. I have no clue where the file went.
