just FYI, 12\'s 15\'s and even 18\'s can sound just as good as a 10", they are just far more efficient..

\nYou only want your sub producing up to a max of 80hz anyways, around 60hz if you have a STRONG front stage, and a 18" will easily produce over 160hz, over double the \'speed\' it would be moving at 80hz..

\nJust my 2 cents. My 15" sounded good on rock. I had it tuned low at 28hz with my 30 band eq for a pretty damn flat response!

\nedit: bored/rant, I just hear far to many people say they want 10\'s cause they listen to rock/metal. As long as its a quality speaker in a quality setup, bigger speakers will perform just as well.

\nNever knew that dude. I\'m not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the amp settings, Always had one of my friends set it up for me lol Thanks for info man
