i believe in having abortions but not using it as a constant form of birth control. i believe everyone is entitled to (and don't judge me for how i'm going to word this) a freebie. after that there should be a damn good cause to have one.
if i were to get pregnant tomorrow i'd abort it. there is no way we could afford to pay for a baby. i can barely handle my two children now, let alone another baby....plus if i were to have another one it'd be like starting all over. screw that....when i turn 40 my youngest child will be 19. now, that being said....if i do end up having an abortion ever (i've never had one before) i would go out and get my tubes tied and he will go get sniped.
maybe i'm selfish right now for not doing that anyways since we don't want anymore kids, but guess what....it's our belief, it's my body AND it's his choice as well as mine.
i've seen the procedure of someone getting their tubes tied (i was a nursing student) and i don't want to have ANY surgery at all unless i have to. the method we use for birth control works for us and has worked for over 5 years. we will continue to use it until there is an accident.
i don't want to have an abortion, but if it comes to having another baby or having an abortion...abortion it is.
now mikem, you're comment about the midwest and south....you can suck it! there are areas all over the country having this problem.
