Not sure if this is the best place for this, but since it's a pitbike engine i'm talking about, i thought i would post it here.
2 weeks ago i was starting to learn how to drift on grass with scooter tires on, after the 2nd attempt i think, my engine started knocking
I'm guessing it didnt like the short period where the back brake was locking and i dropped the clutch (so the engine wants to turn over, but cant since i've got the back tire locked up). I know thats gotta be horrible for the engine, especially a chinese engine. At first i thought my valve clearances somehow had gone out when i did that. So i set them(twice) to no avail :/ Any1 know what part of the engine takes strain when u got throttle open, clutch out, back brake locked. The bike still runs fine, have been riding since then. It just has an engine clicking/knock that it didnt have before. It's a lifan 125 engine, valves set to 0.003 inlet and 0.004 exhaust
Any1 got any ideas?
Would rather try do the job myself than send to my mechanic, need to save money for a helmet cam
