\r\n \r\n I have had tons of BMWs, they are great cars, but there is a learning curve, just like jumping to any different brand. Change your control arms and your bushings, and CHANGE THE COOLING SYSTEM!!!! That is what will kill it if anything will.

\nI think by 02\' they had most of the eGremlins worked out.
\nMake sure you stay up on changing your trans/transfer case fluid too. The transfer cases go on those and they are not cheap, and they are a bit of a PITA to fix, especially if you are not familiar and do it all the time, like !!!stretch!!! .
\nI have a 2000 328 Coupe as my daily. I love it. But they do have a more ambitous maintenance schedule than a lot of other cars.\r\n
