id save up a little more if i was going to get a rifle. im kicking myself in the ass for not buying the sig sauer 556 for 1700$ and it came with a 1000$ 2 day training course in vegas.
if you want a cheap rifle id look for any AR 15-22LR
id also love to own a Mosberg 500. you can always add more to it later like pistol grips, folding stock, big ass muzzle break, etc...
