\nI was Army Light Infantry for 7 years and I agree with what these guys are saying:

\n1) best bet go to school, get a degree, and get into the work force.
\n
\n2) if you\'re hell bent on the service....doesn\'t much matter what branch you join, but definitely get into an MOS that transfers out of the service. Mechanic/electrician/intrelligence/etc.....something you\'d want to do in the civilian world. MP will only give you a few points above every other high school bully that wants to be a cop, it\'s not worth the investment for the return. Combat MOS\' are shit in the civilian world....the only thing that will transfer over is team work and leader ship.....the same shit playing on any team sport would do for your resume.

\n3) If you do join, know this....women in the military are whores......fuck as many as you want but cover your dick and don\'t wife her up.....cuz she will be fucking the rest of your platoon as well.

\nThat\'s pretty much all I got.....think about it long and hard....it ain\'t the fairy tale the recruiters or hollywood would have you believe. Most of is sucks, the pay is shit, and someone else will always be telling you what to do.
