\r\n \r\n On my engine, I used duplicolor 500f engine paint.

\r\nI also primed my bottom end with regular old duplicolor self etching primer, however its not rated for high heat.. I heard people had no problems running that primer on water cooled motors, so I figure it \'might\' hold up on this one, but air cooled motors DO run a LOT hotter then water cooled (water cooled will typically run at 180 and max around 230 ish) air cooled will run regularly in the 200-250 range and can break 300f easily

\r\nSo far no issues with mine, it\'s holding up great.

\r\nI didn\'t use any primer however on my cylinder or head, as I was worried it would bubble off...\r\n
