class has something to do with quality i think 
i have a 16gb class 6 or 8 for my Drift HD170 and it plays back and transfers nice, but i mostly will be recording in 720p, u dont get too much more out of the 1080p and some sites and programs wont support 1080 so u only get 720 anyways...
