Do you carry speed strips or a speed loader ?? I have a lot of trigger time with the p238 .. I mean A LOT !!! & its a great gun !! shoots fantastic & all the ones I have shot function great! ... But I would rather have .38 +p then .380 & I like the reliability & simpleness of the revolver.... I just came from daily carrying a GI 1911 so the s&w 637 I have now feels sooo small . |
i used to carry a springfeild 1911a1 mil spec, but that got too bulky and heavy quick. so then i was carrying my springfield XD9 for a while, and was rocken the high cap mag which held 15 rounds.
when i first got the .38 i used to 1 carry speed loader so it would give me 5 more rounds in case i needed it. But that only lasted a few weeks. becuse i decided that since i live in a pretty rural area and dont live near anywhere like Bmore or Philly i would just rock the .38 snub and just keep the 5 rounds in the cylinder with no other extra rounds on me. BUT anytime i go ANYWHERE that is or even might be a little sketchy i leave the .38 at home and carry my 4" XD9 with 15 rounds in the clip.
