Aimsurplus.com has some good deals if you buy at least 500 rounds of ammo you just gotta find um. I got 1260 7.62x39 for $200 and 1000 rounds of .223 for 189.99 
just thought i would pass this on to you guys. If you guys know of better prices feel free to flame on, but please post links once you are through
ps. 223 was cheap steel cased stuff. they have the Laquer lubricant type, the Dry polymer type steel case. and just plain steel case.
7.62x39 is brass cased but Berdan primed so no reloading. oh and they are the mildly corrosive Yugo ammo but the stuff is hot its army stuff so it should be. Already went through 1200 rounds of it and not 1 FTF or FTE.
