The rebuild of Pete for 2011

well as some of you know i love to murder 50's and i like to change it up every year... this is gonna be a huge rebuild... i have lots of costum fab stuff that i have done so any questions or comments post it up

this was the set up for 2010






and it being stripped for the rebuild.....

stripped the wheels to put down the freshness

new color on the wheels and freshened up the hubs

plan on stripping the frame and swing are tomorrow and getting them primed and painted

did you weld peg mounts into that SF for the ESD pegs??

I like getting real real deep in fast wide 2nd gear circles and the axel pegs would always stop me from getting the super lean so I took a extra foot bar and chopped the ends and got some 50 stunt street pegs.... Plus with the little bit of added height its easier to transfer from RL to blind side RL

How long have you had them like that? No added stress or problems? Did you have any problem adjusting to the change in balance position? I really like this idea, I would do this to my 50!

...and I agree with Jack Cooke on the undertail exhaust, it's pimp!
