well, while we are all debating our political views and current events, lets see what everyone's opinion on this subject is.
What do you think about the govt. repealling the "Don't ask, don't tell policy" in the military?
I personally am against it, I have absolutly no problem with gays, but I strongly believe that getting rid of this law will greatly hurt unit cohesion especialy in the grunt units. If you allow gays to openly serve in the military, we will have to add 2 more battalions @ recruit training, 1 for gay men, and another for gay women. Im sure everyone that was in the U.S.M.C. can remeber in 1st and 2nd phase of recruit training taking showers by the numbers with a plt. of about 60 all crammed in a tiny ass rain room  Man that really sucked ass!! Not to mention adding all the extra barracks.
Anyway, lets hear some opinions, try to keep it civil!

You really shouldn't put this under here, put it under the military section. This is a religion section as well as politics which is dumb i know but don't want to cause controversy. Religion and gay doesn't mix.

I was thinking the same thing, but wasnt quit sure, I think it can kinda go in both sections, seeing as the law makers in washinton are going to be the ones enforcing this.

well i think it should not matter....the problem is,straight men/women should not be so damn worried about oh is he/she looking at my wang/tits etc,and be more worried about the objective and why the joined in the first place...
for gay guys,im sure he has seen plenty of wangs so to him its its not like i haven't seen one,so relax kind of attitude..
girls...they always see each others stuff...they pee/shower and change in front of each other all the time...
put it this way,if you were in a fight with the baddest mother fucker ,who was the best shot out of the whole platoon and you knew he was your only hope...and said right before battle said hey guys,,by the way im gay!...would you not follow him.....
cause i dont give a shit how many dicks he's sucked,but if that son of a bitch can kill 12 people with 10 shots,id follow that guy anywhere...
