I'm looking for a F4i to make my first stunt bike but a friend is practically giving away his HONDA 919 which already has 2bros exhaust.
Question: Should I even bother with the 919?
I've been looing around and I dont see cages or sprockets or anything for that matter for this bike.
I used to mess around on the streets but crashing and tickets has me looking to slow down, plus the technical stuff is way more bad @$$.
Any help would be sweet!

f4i for a first bike. It's a tank on 2 wheels, plus everyone and their mother makes parts for it

f4i is the best to learn on.just get the oil pickup and the handbrake hhd and a big sprocket and the crash cage and your good

I've been looking into all the protection/ support. I'll probably be the noob with all the sh*t before I'm even good. Luckily I live out in the middle of nowhere and have a sick ass 1/2 mile street right behind my house with no other houses ( just dirt) to practice.
My list so far:
1. Cage
2. Sub Cage Rear Pegs
3. Stay
4. 12er bar
5. Handbrake
6. Sprocket (-1?) +10 or more
7. Rear sets
Too much? or is there anything else I need to consider. Like I said Nooooooooooob

you dont need handbrake just yet till you get bp & FB on lock...just stay with your stock sprocket first and read the above what i just said till u get everything on lock then get hb and bigger sprocket.
all u need is cage , round or 12 bar but its better to get round bar tho.

oh and you should get omr subcage , maybe damage control products radiator cage too.

I would not stunt a 919..
Start with an F4I or any 600 to begin.. your gonna wreck it anyways most likely.
dont get any stuntparts till you have balance point sitdown and standup wheelies locked.
Make sure its what you want to do before you wreck a nice bike.
If your daring and want to jump right in at least get a cage and 12 bar.-round bar is for more advanced users in my oppinion, you will want to learn to set the bike on the bar.

I think you should get the 919 depending on how much resell it for more and buy the f4i

My friend is giving me the 919 for $1k and I think it blue books much higher than that. I can do sit downs and even stand ups for a quite a ways. I've toyed around on my old 03' R1 that was -1, +5 and had a 905 cage and Ingenuity 12er bar (I think). I am light years away from technical "stunting" but I'm a step up from the every day rider stunts. Basically, I can wheelie and hold it at the bp. I've crashed sick ass bikes and am resupplying myself with another 09' R1 for my daily. This would be my "trash it" bike to slow it down and learn the technical stuff. Thanks for the info so far.
