Molded is just that - molded all one piece. It is stronger / more durable but also stiffer. Cut is typically 2 layers of softer material that has the top layer cut into a pattern (diamonds, squares, or straight lines). Cut is much softer - can be curved easier, but can be damaged easier and wears faster.

I looked back at my eBay acct and the description for that sheet of htmoto I used says molded.
And I will say this it seemed to not want to contour over curves and such very well and its starting to peel up on the sides where my knees rest.

Approaching the 1000 mile mark and ill say that the 2013 636 is what dreams are made of! Filmed a bit this weekend and working on a small clip now.
