Be very careful with R6 tanks, if you tilt the cap just a little to much it will pinch the breather tube inside and it'll build pressure i learned the hard way and had to fab mine afterwards but fabbing is deff the way to go you can fit so much more gas in um for daily driving vs normal dents.

I cracked my tank in 3 places when I did my dent. Take it to a shop for welding, it's fixable. Also, get an aftermarket gas cap because the stock cap will leak out fuel during stoppies. Just remember to vent it after every session because pressure builds up.

If its building pressure youd know it just ride it work a short ride and take the cap off like your getting gas if you hear it release pressure when you open it then its building pressure.

Mine was too deep and the dent hit the pump. There was over an inch gap down at the bottom. I tried to hit it back up a bit and slipped and hit the bottom lip where the pump seals to the tabk

no it's not building pressure but doing the exact opposite.
