50 stunt handbrake

I have a 50stunt handbrake kit. the knob that you adjust the footbrake with keeps coming out of the tab that connects it to the handbrake. it sits on the tab rather then in the hole of the tab. finally the knob spun off the brake rod and i need to order a new one. any ideas on why the knob is not sitting in the hole of the tab properly? i set it up in the hole, then after about 10 minutes of rindin i notice it pops out and its not in the hole, its sittin on top of the tab. the spring is still there, so its not that.

i had the same problem idk it does it. i just took my footbrake off and run just my hand brake and its fine.

should have a notch cut out to fit just right,if not put a nut behind it i guess...never had that problem and ive always ran em
