Just got a XD!

I had a xd 40 cal 4 inch absolutly the best gun I have ever had! I shot over 2000 rounds through it and not one jam or misfire. If its your first xd u will love it.

I do love it! I found out last night that you can easily fit 17 rounds in the 16 round magazine without any issues. Probably wear the spring out though over time.

Same reason why I went with the tactical 45GAP instead of the .45ACP when I was looking at the XD.

It's a single stack mag, and the shorter cases of the GAP round means it doesn't print at all under my shirt, but still has all the knockdown power of a .45. And it also utilizes the downrange accuracy of the longer tactical barrel.

Only holds 10rds (after modding the clips) but I'm pretty fast at reloading... and honestly.. 10 rounds of .45 hot lead asprin comin at ya will either cure your headache, or keep anyones head down long enough for you to plan a hasty retreat, get another mag out, or go for the "jersy reload" dropping the auto on the ground, and pull out the revolver from your pocket and finish the job if your'e dirty harry! lol

nothing beats anything from the AR platform. M4 pimped to the hilt would be my suggestion. Fun to build, awesome performer... but sometimes they can suck the money from your wallet worse than these bikes do.

On the other hand.... AK's can be fun to pimp out, and priced right too.
