Running 03 04 ZX6 without gauge cluster - help needed

Hi guys,

In need of some help here. I've gone through the whole stcky thread and searched google and SR but cant seem to find out how to run the bike without the gauges?

I used to run my f4i and RR without gauges by just jumping the gauges' connector. Can the ZX run without gauges?

Jeez just realised I'm a Kawi noob. So used to Hondas

I'm guessing I should jump 1 and 9 to have ignition on? Any advice?

Pretty sure you dont need to do anything. My 03 zx6RR came with no guages and ran. I pulled the open connector out of the airbox and plugged guages in, ran both ways.

My bike does have the Neutral, Clutch, kickstand and tip sensors ALL BYPASSED if that might be why.
Mybe ther was something jumped there but I really dont remember.

Some bikes dont run without gauges (cars too), and NO dont do 1 to 9, you will short the 12v power to ground. I don't see anything on that pinout that would indicate your bike needs a gauge to run. Are you sure it doensn't run without one?
