right now i have the bike hanging from a beam in my garage with no front end on the bike. going to be sending out the r1 forks for powder coating and new fork seals along with getting a new triple treee setup made to fit the 1 mm larger r1 forks. thats gonna take a nice 800 dollar chunk out of my wallet. ouch lol. lucky i did this tho cuz my race bearings were fucked. could of ended bad. if it wasnt for my fork seals going i would of left it alone and never noticed.

I like the stunterx idea on the frame but dont like the idea of the mounts for fairings not being welded....... i saw on a bike where the fairing mount got pulled out and broke the fairing........ I would have that to happen...... because lately i was thinking about getting a frame for my 11

im not makin sense of what the difference would be if they were welded instead of the clamps that are used for the side fairing. the lower mounting tab is welded. or are you talking about how you can remove the front mount for the upper fairing stay?
