right now im running a cheap hb setup where my hb master is tied into my foot brake. now that iv got my idle wheelies down i want a seperate 4 piston caliper for my hb. iv been lookin at the hohey and fti dual caliper brackets and i think im gonna order the fti caliper bracket and 80 inch line off the fti site for 170 bucks. on the hohey site they offer their dual caliper bracket for 145 and an adaptor bracket for 50 bucks. whats the adaptor bracket for from hohey and how come fti doesnt offer one? and would i need a left or right side front caliper off a honda?

I think what you're talking about is the hohey bracket is normally for 2 single piston calipers and then has an added piece for 50 dollars to run a 4 piston caliper for your hand brake. The FTI bracket is only for 4 piston setup so doesnt have anything to add on to make it that way

The following front left (clutch side) Honda 4 piston brake calipers that will fit this bracket are the Honda F4, F4i, 929, 954 and 98-99 CBR 900’s.
Learn How to Modify the 4 piston brake pad. This design will require the modification of your 4 piston brake pads. Due to the diameter of the rear wheel rotor no 4 piston caliper will fit completely on the rear rotor wear pattern so we recommend you trim your pads.

ok i think i understand now. the dual caliper bracket that hohey offers for 145 allows you to add another single piston caliper. the adaptor hohey offers is to add a a 4 piston. i think il just go with the fti it seems like a good price for the bracket and a line. anyone got a honda caliper they wana part with?
